GIVING BACK LOCALLY
As more and more people move away from rural communities to urban areas, we are trying to demonstrate the value and beauty these places still hold.
To do this we have decided to run our cooking classes in smaller places which will benefit from having visitors. We source all our ingredients locally, sometimes even in our own backyard. We have also tapped into local expertise and employ those living in these rural areas when possible.
Aside from buying and hiring locally, we will reinvest 75% of our end of year profits in a social or environmental goal, aligning with our umbrella organisation ENSOCO. This can range from supporting youth education, improving environmental awareness or providing social enterprise consultation. Find out more here.
